Time saving Hack for Artist: This Free App Will Save You So Much Time (and make money in your sleep)

May 2, 2018

Do you have some complicated system for remembering to follow up with leads and customers? Are you using stars and folders and all kinds of crazy stuff in gmail trying to stay afloat and keep things organized?

Or worse, are you NOT following up with leads and leaving tons of money on the table? (See my post on why follow ups are essential to your business.)

That used to be me. And it doesn’t have to be you.

Not everyone has the ability to create complex automated marketing follow up campaigns in programs like Infusionsoft or even Mailchimp. So how do you stay organized and make sure your leads get followed up with?

Boomerang for gmail.

This app is a lifesaver and the free plan is a great place to start! This app enables you to schedule emails, and bring emails back to your inbox on a set day if the person hasn’t responded.

Do you have clients that order from you approximately every 6 weeks, months or annually? Don’t set calendar reminders or keep track in a notebook...simply schedule an automated email to be sent every x months/weeks/years and Gmail will do all the work for you!

Set it and forget it.

I’ve set up reminders, forgotten about them months later and then received an immediate reply to the email I scheduled 6 months ago for a $1500 order! It's as easy as that!

Boomerang also allows you to "pause" your inbox.

Inbox Pause stops new email from coming into your Inbox until you’re ready for it. Studies show that checking email only a few times a day reduces stress and boosts productivity. This will help you block off times to do your art without having to be interrupted by incoming emails!

This app is one simple way to streamline and systematize your business so that you have more time to make your art.
